On the 17th September 3 members of Castlet Ltd from Lincoln visited CNAM bringing with them our repaired/refurbished aircraft battery charger.
Castlet Ltd diagnosed and repaired the battery charger F.O.C. and for this we thank them for their generosity, time and materials.
When we took the battery charger to them they also donated a one off Nimrod Armament test box, which was designed for the cancelled MR4, and is the only one in the world! This is now situated in our own Nimrod MR2 XV255. They were given tours of our aircraft, thanks to Chris Smith (who tried to steer them to the dark side by cramming them into the Vulcan cockpit!) and Carolyn said they enjoyed their visit.
Many thanks to Castlet Ltd, Ian Melton, Ian Fox, Carolyn Lawley and the 3 aviation enthusiasts for their contribution to our museum assisting in enhancing our exhibits and repairing essential equipment.
