Priced at £18.00 for an individual adult or £40.00 for a family (two adults, three children aged 8-16 years), this annual pass offers great value for money for our regular visitors. It would also be a great Christmas or Birthday present for the aviation enthusiast.

Group Visits
Group visits to CNAM are organised and staffed by volunteers who are passionate about aviation and have a wealth of knowledge to share.
The museum welcomes group visits from all types of clubs, societies and informal groups as well as youth organisations including, Schools (both primary and secondary), Scouting / Guiding groups, and Air Cadets.
Whatever type of group you have you are welcome to visit us and enjoy a great day out exploring our unique collection of military and civil aircraft and cockpit sections, together with indoor displays showcasing Norfolk’s aviation history.
Further information about Group Visits, including details of discounted admission rates can be found in our Group Visit Information Sheet .
Should you have any additional questions or would like to arrange a group visit please contact our Group Visit Coordinator on our contact page.
Schools & Youth Organisations
School and Youth Organisation groups, from primary school age upwards, may like to plan a visit as part of their study of the Second World War, Cold War, Military History, Study of Flight, Engineering or Science. We have a range of activities which can be provided for School / Youth groups including an age tailored quiz / treasure hunt around the museum and aircraft identification sheets. We can also supply a range of table-top activities for primary school age children. These are all provided free of charge.
Where possible, and given sufficient prior notice (at least four weeks), we may be able to provide additional activities tailored to specific lessons or elements of a school’s curriculum. There may, however, be some additional charges depending on what is requested and agreed. Our Group Visit Coordinator will be pleased to discuss any special requirements prior to arranging your visit.
Although we do not have a hard limit on the size of School / Youth group parties we would suggest that numbers are limited to around 35. All children (under 18) must be fully supervised by staff from the visiting organisation at all times while at the Museum. We request that at least one adult from your organisation attends for every five visiting children. These adults will be admitted free of charge. Additional staff supporting individual children with special needs or disabilities are also admitted free. Any further additional adults will be admitted at the group visit discount rate
As the aircraft park is outdoors, please ensure that all members of your group dress appropriately for the weather. In Autumn and Winter warm clothing and waterproof footwear are strongly recommended. On sunny days in Summer remember hats and sun cream.
A copy of our School / Youth Group visit risk assessment can obtained by contacting our Group Visit Coordinator
Community Groups, Clubs & Societies
Although visits through the museum are usually self-guided, volunteers are normally available to interpret exhibits and answer questions. Personalised tours or talks can often be made available by special request. These may incur a small additional charge depending on group size and what is requested and agreed but can often be provided at no additional cost. Our Group Visit Coordinator will be pleased to discuss any special requirements / requests prior to arranging your visit and to advise on any additional costs involved.
For car and motorcycle clubs we can usually allow vehicles to be parked under and around the aircraft in the aircraft park making for some fantastic photo opportunities.
The minimum size of group to qualify for discounted entry is normally 10 people. However, exceptions may be made in certain circumstances e.g. veterans or their families or groups with a particular connection to Norwich / Norfolk. If you are looking to bring a group of less than 10 people, please contact our Group Visit Coordinator to discuss your specific circumstances and agree pricing.
Aircraft Guided Tours for Group Visits
For an additional price of £3.50 for adults and £2.50 for children, and subject to volunteer availability, pre-booked groups may have the opportunity of a guided tour inside one of the Museum’s larger aircraft; normally our Nimrod MR2 maritime patrol aircraft, Avro RJ85 Airliner or the Vulcan Cold War bomber.
Access to the Nimrod and RJ85 is by airport type passenger steps. Access to the Vulcan requires the climbing of two ladders which does require a degree of agility. There is no ramp / wheelchair access to any of the aircraft.
For primary schools or other groups where the majority of participants are age 12 or under, we only offer tours on the RJ85. Children are, however, allowed to sit in the pilot’s seats on this aircraft. Guided tours of the Vulcan are normally only available to adult groups.
Requests for tours should be made at the time of booking your Group Visit. If tours have not been requested in advance, regrettably, it may not be possible to accommodate these “on the day”.
When Can Groups Visit & How Long Should Visits Last
Visits During Normal Museum Opening Hours
Group visits are available, and welcome, at all times the Museum is open to the general public. We would recommend a minimum of two hours for your visit, and at least two and a half hours if planning to undertake an aircraft guided tour. Groups are, however, welcome to be on site for as long as the museum is open to the public.
Visits Outside of Normal Opening Hours Including Evenings
We encourage all groups to visit during normal public opening times if at all possible. Visits outside of normal public opening hours can sometimes available, but as much notice as possible (minimum 4 weeks) is required.
As all our aircraft live outside, evening visits are normally only available in June, July and August due to limited daylight hours outside these months. These visits should be timed to start as early in the evening as possible – preferably at 18.00. Typically, any evening visits are limited to a maximum of two and a half hours duration. “Night-time” after dark visits are not available other than in exceptional circumstances.
While we will do our best to accommodate out of hours visits, and to do so at the discounted rates shown below (insert link), their availability is not guaranteed and is entirely dependent on volunteer availability. We also reserve the right to ask for supplementary payments to cover any additional costs incurred in opening the museum outside of normal public opening hours.
It should be noted that some facilities, such as the Tea Room and Shop may not be available for out of hours visits.
