Since 1977, the City of Norwich Aviation Museum has built an extensive archive of locally important history related to the various Air Bases, Personnel, Aircraft and Operations in Norfolk.
The museum archive houses over 25,000 items from books, aircraft parts and models to uniforms, manuals and medals.
When contacting the office, please ensure you include, as accurate as possible, the items you wish to enquire about. Our staff will reply and arrange a date for you to view should we have any material of interest.
Donating to the City of Norwich Aviation Museum
The City of Norwich Aviation Museum is always greatful to be considered for any donations.
However, it is with regret that the museum cannot take all donations offered. This is due to storage, funding and other constraints.
As a general rule, an item must be of local relevance, not duplicated within our collection or of significant value / interest to the topics covered throughout the museum. If you are still unsure, please contact the office
who will be pleased to assist.
All donations will be processed in line with the museums collection development policy found here
